    High-level British delegation looks forward to providing educational and training programs in the kingdom








    Member of the Board of Directors of the East Chamber Najib Al-saihati stressed on importance of education in the world, noting the attention for the development of education and keep up with the new world of training programs and educational methods. Alsihati said that the Chamber by hosting Thursday 4 December 2014 to a high-level British delegation regards the education and training which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al wabil and Steve Graham, President of the British Trade Office in Al-Khobar, a number of businessmen in the two countries that there are great opportunities for partnerships between training providers on both sides, adding that the Kingdom is now focusing on building a skilled workforce in order to shift to a knowledge-based economy.
    He said that Government give higher allocations to the education sector in the annual budget for the current year being devoted to education and training of 210 billion saying the consent of the custodian on the five-year plan to reform the education system in the Kingdom, which cost more than $ 80 billion.  He said that thousands of Saudi students studying abroad within the scholarship program the external sensuous students studying in Britain more than 18,000 Saudi students studying at various universities and training institutes, stressing that the students have a growing interest in pursuing graduate studies in the United Kingdom and this will increase the strong relations between the two countries, indicating that the room is working closely with the British Office for dissemination of educational products and services in the region.

    He also speaking to the East Chamber through the training center of training programs offering training services to employees of private sector companies to ' program ' the entrepreneurship development, which qualifies the graduates from colleges and universities to start their own business.  Amand celvaratnaml said, head of training, York University who headed the delegation, which included representatives of 17 universities and colleges in Britain that the universities and educational institutions in Britain are looking to establish partnerships with Saudi counterparts to provide training and professional development programs, employment services and human resources solutions, develop leadership skills, management consultancy, orientation and English language for Saudi youth who will participate in the economic development in the Kingdom, refine and develop their skills to prepare them for the labor market.
